Our first release was March 8th, 2019, ‘Long Way From Home’ with the additional B-Side of Solid Gold both are still by-far the most listened to releases we’ve ever made. Probably because it was the ONLY thing of ours you could listen to for like 2 years.
This song was recorded by Port Huron’s best kept secret DJ Lee Hoffman in the summer of 2018 and released the following year. One thing that this track has that none other does is horns. The unforgettable Desmond Sheppard wrote the horns literally the night before we recorded them.
It’s funny how much has changed in these few short years. I’ll never forget how everyone berated us for refusing to make a physical release and now no one even thinks about releasing to CD anymore. It’s either Vinyl or Spotify.
